The American Veterinary Medical Association convened for its annual meeting in Austin, Texas last week. The AVMA annual convention is where more than 5,000 veterinary health care professionals earn continuing education credits to maintain professional licensure. Dr. Bonnie Bragdon lectured about evolving methods for immunoassay testing with a focus on surface acoustic wave biosensing. Center Point Bio-Tech has made great progress in developing surface acoustic wave biosensing (SAW) as the preferred method for performing immunoassay testing in veterinary medicine. SAW biosensing will allow more complex testing to be performed at point of care with operator training, smaller equipment size, rapid test time, and greater accuracy.
